Mindy
Figueroa - Founder & President
A true maverick, Arminda “Mindy” Figueroa is
a recognized leader in the traditional, multicultural, direct
and digital marketing fields, and has built a successful
career focused on generating awareness of the essential
role of the multicultural market in corporate America.
Prior
to launching L2L, Mindy was Project Director for Scholastic
Media, and oversaw the launch of the children’s TV
series, |

& Miguel, the # 1 new TV show for kids on PBS. Figueroa
previously held senior marketing positions at The Bravo Group
(a Young & Rubicam agency), Univision.com, Verizon and
Anheuser-Busch. Ms. Figueroa is a frequent presenter at industry
seminars and conferences, and is a board member of the Hispanic
Federation of New York among others. She has also been recognized
by El Diario/La Prensa as one of the 50 Most Influential
Latinas. |
Joseph
Wiscovitch – Senior Business Associate
Mr. Wiscovitch is President of Wiscovitch Associates,
Ltd. Established in 1988, it is a Hispanic-owned marketing and
government relations firm with 20 years of experience in corporate
marketing and political campaigns. Prior to establishing the agency,
Wiscovitch served for 13 years, as VP of Marketing & Public
Affairs of Banco de Ponce, NY's largest Hispanic bank. During
his long and storied career, Joe has been an advisor for President
Clinton’s re-election campaign and assisted him in his move
to Harlem including structuring the ‘Welcome to Harlem’
ceremony. Joe has also served as a senior public affairs consultant
to Anheuser-Busch, Banco Popular and Pepsico for 15 years and
is a board member of NYC’s Economic Development Corporation.
Laura
Martínez – Sr. Marketing Consultant
With a special expertise and in-depth understanding of Hispanic
marketing challenges and opportunities, Laura Martínez
brings a wealth of experience to L2L. As the founding Editor of
Marketing y Medios, Laura launched the premiere monthly
magazine and coordinated website. Under her leadership, the publication
was nominated with for the prestigious Jesse H. Neal Award for
Best Start-up publication in 2005. Laura’s other successes
include the creation and launch of the first Spanish-language
edition of The Wall Street Journal. Laura is a pioneer
in Hispanic business marketing with previous editorial roles in
Mexico, Argentina and Chile. With 15 years of international journalism
and marketing behind her, Laura will advise on marketing strategy
and development for L2L.
Desiree
Colon - Senior Marketing Consultant
Desiree Colon is an experienced marketing strategist with more
than 10 years of well-rounded expertise in the retail, pharmaceutical,
telecom and food & beverage categories.
Prior to joining
Latin2Latin, Desiree spent six years at Bravo/Y&R and MVBMS/EuroRSCG
providing managing accounts and helping clients execute corporate
marketing goals. Past clients include: Philips Electronics, AT&T,
Wyeth and Subway. With a passion for "living" her clients' brand,
Desiree helped uncover consumer triggers to leverage marketing
opportunities and optimize the client's marketing plan.
Desiree began
her career as a Marketing Associate at Philips Electronics, NA.,
working with senior executives on the global brand management
team. In this role, she was involved in managing division's advertising
agency and working with public relations and creative teams to
deliver cutting edge ad campaigns and marketing collateral.
Olga
Gil - Senior Research Consultant
Ms. Gil has over 20 years experience working in marketing, advertising,
and qualitative marketing research. She conducts general market
and Spanish-language studies for the U.S. Hispanic market and
Latin America.
She began her career working for major advertising agencies including
Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy & Mather, and Publicis/Bloom
Agency where she worked her way up from Assistant Account Executive
to Vice-President in Account Management. Her advertising/marketing
background plays a major role in helping clients translate research
findings into actionable results.
Olga's research spans a wide range of industries, including packaged
goods, health care, financial services, entertainment, telecommunications,
pharmaceuticals, retail, travel, business-to-business, and professional
groups. They cover virtually every type of business objective,
including advertising research, brand identity/positioning, attitude
and usage, new product development, lifestyle research, packaging
and merchandising studies, among others. Key clients include:
ABC Television, Procter & Gamble, Schering-Plough, Anheuser-Busch,
Pfizer, Prudential, Verizon, MasterCard, Visa and Sprint.
In addition to providing clients with a full range of qualitative
services such as focus groups, one-on-one interviews, telephone
IDI's and mall intercepts, Olga also leads new product and idea
generation sessions to help clients develop business solutions.
Miss
Resto – Sr. Marketing Analyst
With over 20 years managing international sales programs, Miss
Resto brings her talent and expertise to L2L in the role of Sr.
Marketing Analyst. In addition to her background in sales, Miss
Resto has managed customer accounts for multinational financial
institutions, was named Champion for Cross Cultural Communications,
received company awards for hitting sales goals, and was selected
by JPMorgan Chase to represent the company in a training program
in India.
Trey
McNeil – Marketing Coordinator
Marketing Coordinator based out of the Ft Lauderdale office, Trey
McNeil is a 2006
International Business graduate of the University of Tennessee,
Trey spent most of 2006 abroad in Brussels, Belgium interning
with a telecommunication advertising and marketing department. With Latin2Latin since fourth quarter 2007, Trey has continue to develop his skills and abilities while working directly with Mindy.
Trey desires to increase his knowledge of entrepreneurship and
marketing working with Mindy and her staff at Latin2Latin.
Patricia Urquiaga
– Administrative Assistant
Based out of the Ft Lauderdale office, Patricia is the newest addition to the Latin2Latin team. Current pursuing a degree in Architecture from Broward College, Patricia serves as the administrative assistant to the south Florida team.
